As a private dealer, Thomas Colville devotes the majority of his time personally supervising each painting's conservation in order to retrieve the impact of its original state and preserve it for the future. Drawing upon an extensive collection of antique frames, each work of art is presented either in its original frame or an appropriate frame of the period. Finally, to determine its art historical context, each work is researched to document its provenance and exhibition history. Thomas Colville maintains a significant inventory of quality works in a wide range of prices that reflect a certain asthetic taste and because these artworks have been personally chosen for their imaginative appeal, he is always happy to reacquire them.
